Each year we create a unique Tangibility Christmas gift as a thank you to the amazing people we work with. It’s an opportunity to think outside the box and create something that is a little different. So many of our gifts are being talked about and requested years after which tells us we created something a bit special!
This year was no exception, but we also wanted to engage our community in the process to create something more collaborative – essentially putting the choice in their hands.
So, what did we come up with?
A jigsaw puzzle showcasing the beauty of our state, complete with a custom a box and calico duster bag. As a proud Western Australian company, we enlisted the help of Esperance-based photographer Jaimen Hudson to narrow down 5 images of iconic Western Australian locations.
We created a scratch card which invited our community to vote for their favourite image with Lucky Bay, Esperance narrowly taking out the win. People knew this artwork would feature on our Christmas gift, but they didn’t know what the gift would be.
Puzzles were handed out in December and the response was beyond expectation. Everyone had been taking guesses at what the gift would be and there was genuine surprise and appreciation when they received the puzzle.
We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and to gift something our community could enjoy with their loved ones over the holiday period. We are already thinking about next year. Bring it on!
